We are the Toronto, Ontario Community of the Society for Technical Communication (STC), formerly called the Toronto Chapter.

This community was formed in 1959 and includes technical writers, editors, technical illustrators and technical communicators of all kinds.

In addition, over 1,000 people are our email list.

What we do

We promote clear, concise, and audience-focused technical communications.

We provide technical communicators with opportunities for professional development regarding current tools, trends, and methodologies.

We maintain a sense of community through networking opportunities and our job bank, sharing professional job opportunities with members.
