When you join the STC, you are actually joining the international society. Therefore, when you join, be sure to select the Toronto community. This helps fund our local events and also ensures we can inform you about special offerings we make to community members only such as:

• funding for events such as the STC Summit
  
• invitation to our Annual General Meeting (includes a free full buffet dinner!)

Even if you are not in the Toronto area, you can still choose to join the Toronto community. However, there are active STC communities in other local cities, such as Waterloo and Ottawa, and in other provinces.

The cost to join the STC and the Toronto chapter is comprised of the basic membership cost plus the cost of joining a community:
