Why renew?

There are many reasons to renew your STC membership.

For some people, it's the publications, job bank, and resources on the main STC website.

For others, membership provides the sense of community, professional identity, and opportunity for learning and lively discussions.

The STC Toronto network is a valuable source of networking and employment, and helps keep you up-to-date on current industry trends and technologies.

STC Toronto is a community that overlaps with many others, all under the umbrella of technical communications. It's our goal to nurture our existing network and to expand our network with other organizations.

It pays to be a member

When you renew, if you choose to pay the $25 to be affiliated with the STC Toronto community, part of that money is refunded to the community to help enhance our programming and cover some of our costs.

At STC Toronto events, we offer three prices: Student, STC Member/Affiliates, and Non-Member. Member prices are typically half that of non-members.
 
Note that you don't have to be a member to receive our email updates. A good network is important, so we invite you to stay connected through our email distribution list and our professional development and social networking events.

Our social events are a great way to get together to enjoy the company of fellow technical communicators. They're also an opportunity for newcomers to the field to ask questions of more seasoned members.
